When an emergency arises, we have access to temporary generators, portable distribution equipment, temporary lighting, and even temporary phone service if necessary to help get your organization up and running.  We can also assist you and your insurance company with fire damage assessment to make sure that nothing is missed during the evaluation process.

 

DURING AN EMERGENCY, WE CAN:

  • Inspect your electrical system for any damage

Arc Flash Protection

​Arc Flash has been around since energy came under control by the use of conductors, switches, and transfer points. However, in the past three years, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has made new rules stating it is each employer’s responsibility to ensure its employees work in an Arc Flash Fire Environment. Active Electric, Inc. can provide your staff assistance in complying with the N.F.P.A. 70E.

High Voltage

 

Active Electric, Inc. has among its staff many individual workers who are trained in testing, splicing and termination of high voltage cables. They are trained on the proper use of personal protective equipment often called P.P.E.'S. They also know how to determine the safe zone around open high voltage equipment to size up safety barriers to keep those not using P.P.E.'s back from open areas.

Design/Build

Active Electric, Inc. has a long history of assisting in design/build projects.  These projects give the owner, engineer, architect, and contractor a shared effort to procure a project that demonstrates quality work, completion in an economical way so the project timeline and cost are the most affordable for the customer. This team effort far exceeds the hard build type of projects.

Fire Alarm Systems

All of Active Electric, Inc.'s employees who work on fire alarm systems are certified by the State of Ohio as Fire Alarm Technicians.  All systems will be tested and approved by the fire alarm inspection as well as a representative of the manufacturer of the equipment installed.
