Active Electric, Inc. began as a full service electrical contractor, and was incorporated in 1983 in New Carlisle, Ohio. At that time our primary service was providing quality service to the healthcare industry.

In the latter part of the eighties and early nineties, healthcare began to downsize. Active Electric, Inc. turned to more general contracting, with the "specialty" of providing quality service and satisfaction to both commercial and residential customers. We take great satisfaction knowing we do it right the first time.

Five years later AEI had doubled in size. It was decided to expand our operation even further by moving our headquarters to Troy, Ohio. Relocating allowed AEI to offer our services not only over the entire Miami Valley, but throughout state of Ohio as well.

Along with the new location in Troy, AEI expanded its service to offer 24-hour Emergency Electrical Service to all customers, commercial and residential.

We continue our growth, and again have moved our headquarters. In 2006 we moved to Dayton, a location more centralized, where we can better serve the greater Dayton and surrounding area, and enhance our service wherever we are needed. One example is our new training room, a facility that offers associations and clubs optional training classes in electrical safety and energy saving tips.
